Dinghy sailing in gusty wind can get wet, especially if the captain is not paying attention and dips the rail. Stashed inside for minor spray is a sponge. This green sponge was a waste of pennies. It does little more than spread spray water. A good absorbent sponge like this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Sponge-Large-6-25-Sponge-King\/dp\/B0087J78E2\" target=\"_blank\">PVA sponge<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Extra-Commercial-Sponges-C41-7456-T\/dp\/B001449LH4\/ref=pd_sim_sbs_misc_7\" target=\"_blank\">3M\u00a0C41 7456-T<\/a> is a much better choice. There is room to spare.
