Port Townsend Watercraft is a kit boat company but it turns out, Russell is really good at writing how-to books available at online outlets and now brick and mortar book stores.<\/p>\n

In September 2026, we published the second edition of his popular EPOXY BASICS;Working with epoxy cleanly and efficiently<\/a>. Russell did a thorough edit of the first edition, adding information and photos that greatly improve the book. We also published it on Ingram Spark to give physical book stores and libraries the opportunity to purchase the book at reduced pricing in contrast to books published on Amazon’s self publishing.<\/p>\n

In October 2026 we soft launched our own online shop<\/a> where we carry books by Russell Brown and Ashlyn Brown and a growing inventory of replacement parts for our dinghies and small boat parts useful on lots of boats. A recommended reading list of books by friends and family will be forthcoming.<\/p>\n
