Port Townsend Watercraft in Brief

PT Watercraft is located in Port Townsend on the Olympic Peninsula in NW Washington. It is the partnership of Ashlyn & Russell Brown, desiring to bring modern and innovative designs to the home boat builder. Our particular passion is nesting craft and the result of many experiments, the PT 11 nesting dinghy. Russell is explicit in his manuals and kit detail, intent on providing very high quality stitch & glue boat kits and related products. Port Townsend is fortunate to have a great marine industry and many have had a part in making PT Watercraft a reality; Turn Point Design, Jim Franken, Antalya Inc., Anderson Machine Shop, Edensaw Woods, NWSWB, NW Sails & NW Canvas, Bieker Boats & Fisheries Supply, PLUS; Off Center Harbor in ME, Chesapeake Light Craft in MD, Sails International in CT, and Fyne Boat Kits UK. It truly takes a 'village' and we are ever grateful to all customers, producers & suppliers.

A collection of great minds and great people have made this endeavor meaningful. We want boaters to safely have fun for many years with their creation while saving money, have less negative impact on the environment, and much less frustration with limitations typical of many small boats on the market.
